Question: aloe vera
How should I water this potted plant in winter? Does it suffer from the cold?
Answer: aloe vera
aloe is a succulent plant of African origin; in Italy aloe plants live undisturbed in many areas, especially in central and southern Italy. They can withstand winter temperatures close to 5-8 ° C, and even a few short light frosts. If you live in an area with very cold winter weather, put your aloe in the stairwell, or in a cold greenhouse. The watering will be sporadic in winter, the more you keep it in the cold and the less you have to water it, and vice versa; so if your aloe will spend the winter outside, avoid watering it. If, on the other hand, you decide to bring it in, water only when the soil is dry.
